E88: Cultural Obligations, Standards and Expectations

Let’s talk about why is it our responsibility as black people to carry the entire culture and everyone in it on our backs every time we walk outside? Why is it the only cultural representatives are the negative ones and the millions of hardworking, tax paying, law abiding black Americans are ignored and overlooked? We’re talking about setting cultural minimums, standards and expectations, jumping ship, the Will Smith and Chris Rock slap, the social media and American culture of disrespect, and so much more! We might hurt a few feelings and trigger a bit of controversy with this one, but that’s what happens when we hit the couch. Grab a friend and get ready, sips are gonna get real.
